My name is Alex Saucedo, but you might know me as Sauce. As a Santa Barbara native, this community is my home, and one of my biggest goals has always been to create real impact within my community. Like many, I took that ability to move and perform for granted until acute injuries and reduced activity led to nagging pain in my back, knees, and shoulders. Dealing with that discomfort was my wake-up call; I realized that living with pain truly sucks, and the right movement is the key to lasting change.

This personal journey didn't just fuel my curiosity—it launched my career. After starting in high-volume settings that focused more on quotas than on client well-being, I quickly sought out places where I could deepen my expertise. I spent four years at specialized facilities like THE LAB and P3. This is where I truly learned to see fitness not as reps, sets, and different exercises but as the art of restoring pain-free movement through intelligent progression. My work there was intensely focused on addressing complex needs: preparing clients for athletic competitions, guiding individuals through post-surgery rehabilitation, and developing comprehensive programs to manage chronic conditions and prevent injuries like muscular, ligament, and tendon issues.

My biggest takeaway was this: high-quality movement demands high-level, dedicated attention. It's the small, nuanced details that make the difference between progression and stagnation. This insight is why I started Camino Training. It’s a dedicated, new venture built to give you more than a traditional workout. It's my commitment to applying that rigorous level of care to restore your proper movement, build resilient strength, and develop deep, lasting trust in your own body.
